Mugga Solar Farm

ACT Geotechnical Engineers conducted a geotechnical investigation for the Mugga Lane Solar Park, in Tuggeranong, ACT. The project involved the construction of a 13MW Solar PV Power Plant located on the corner of Mugga Lane and the Monaro Highway, in Canberra, ACT.

The key structural elements of the project included solar panel structures, power plant structures, access roads, and installation of underground services. To assist is design and construction of these features, ACT Geotechnical Engineers conducted a geotechnical investigation to establish the subsurface conditions across the development area, provide engineering properties of the soils, and identify any possible geotechnical constraints.
